Published Jewelry Photos

Many of the photos I create are intended for reproduction in a print media. Having produced hundreds of printed pieces over the years and having done many a press check, I know how to shoot a photo for print media. Print media has certain limits of range of color and density that I always keep in mind when I am photographing.

My photos have been published in major jewelry magazines since 1981. In 2006 and 2007 I photographed a series of covers for MJSA Journal (formerly AJM). My photographs also have been reproduced for post cards, brochures, magazine ads, editorial, newspaper ads, catalogs, handbills and billboards. Although more of my images are appearing on the Internet today, print media still can be very effective and a great jewelry photograph is an important part of making a successful print piece.
